How I Fixed My Chair

9/2/21 9:15 PM

closed the mobile

took my tools

injured my hands

goal was to get it done

tried a lot – but couldnt

waited – ate food watched video – learned technique how to do

found a way – tried the founded way

part one done – wheels from bottom removed

now chair was broken – couldnt leave that undone – have to fix else cant study or work

tried with all the broken tools

hammered it a lot

applied oil – still couldnt

watched more videos – but technique works only once

decided to dive deep now – lets unscrew the chair

it was totally damaged now – no way to go back

started unscrewing things

the piston that was already there was due to tools – became so worse that I wouldnt want that to be there

it was weared out

hands were paining as the tools were heavy – fear of not able to write again or type again was there

maybe the piston may blast – will break my eye or head

still went on – but with care – with caution to not get damaged

once the chair was apart – went more into depth – removed the back rest

things were looking bad now – getting it done was easier than getting it back to old state

now i was not fighting with the chair – but wanted to get it done

used the oil but that was in vain – actually it seemed that it was in vain but it was not – it was helping me to get it done

started hitting the piston from behind

i had the chair bottom part in air, and piston in hand – the chair weight was helping me to get it down

hammered it multiple time – and papa was also at home

i was doing all of this in my room – with door closed

if someone saw what I am doing they will come to me and say – what you doin, let us do for you and eventually will say  – this is not happening – will buy a new chair

i dont need anyones support – i can do that myself

so the fear that anytime papa would come and start doing him himself or even would start giving suggestions or using his own tools to get it done was there.

i was with broken tools for long – i knew the positive and negative of them – i knew what can be used where – if someone else would come – they will again learn the tools and it will take time

finally i kept on hitting the chair piston, i even tried lever to get it done but it was in vain – one of the tool was damaged too during this

at the end – one last blow – one last hammer – and damm – the piston was out of chair

and the chair as was hanging – fell to the floor – all was silent – it was the sense of joy that yayyy its done

i stayed silent – chill – opened another piston new one – placed it – it went smoothly – fixed the chair and it was so perfect

started to put the tools back – found that the piston cover was on the old piston only – new one didnt had that

should I remove the new piston again? will it take that much time again? what ???

chalo lets do it – i did and lied the chair on floor – one hit with lever and it was out – yayyy – fixed the cover and chair was again great

first time it was tricky and the chair was rusty too – it was difficult – but the oil, the hammer and all of that helped it become better – but once it was better – in no time – it was easy to replace again and the tension to redo – just went in air.

that was my experience with the chair. 🙂
