command control and option – these keys create a mess while typing – while coding many a times I lost what I copied, due to command control error.
delete key is working as backspace as well – after pressing fn key
control key is replaced by fn key- which pops out emojis – that I dont even need while working for office
caps lock when turned on, shift cant over ride it to write small letters – that is way opposite as compared to windows THIS IS CAPS LOCK ON, EVEN PRESSING SHIFT, IT IGNORES SHIFT COMPLETELY WHICH IS IRRITATING, CANT USE SMALL LETTERS UNTIL I DISABLE CAPS LOCK
scroll direction for touchpad and mouse changes together – even if there are two different places to change the setting – both changes if we change one, WHY??? found an app UnnaturalScrollWheel that worked, but why not default? Natural scroll of touchpad isn’t same as Natural scroll of mouse isn’t same for sure.
Installing apps, no direct installation via repositories like ubuntu. I tried sudo apt get but it was in vain, have to install homebrew instead of apt – to install apps easily
apps are bit difficult to be used on this, to install and app you have to drag and put it inside application folder, there too for adding shortcuts like subl in terminal for sublime, or code you have to manually add those in zsh
after clicking close button, just the window gets closed and not the app. its still running and stays on the dock
the dock is not same as taskbar, it still keeps all the apps even if closed
the maxmize button is not so, it makes the app run in fullscreen. even if you want it will stay in fullscreen mode
cant tile the windows to one side or the other
force touchpad – after clicking once, force your click and it will register second click. if force clicked on a text box, it will open dictionary for the word and tell you its meaning. but no other use of it except that. so a waste
keyboard, the keys are spacy and enough to let you type freely. but the layout is different that general keyboards, so yeah negative point because you cant blind type for few initial days with this keyboard.
dictation key on f5, it mis types a lot of words, cant be realiably used directly
when using finder – to open the file either you have to press command o, or use command up or down button. if you do enter it will rename the file that you selected. and you cant change the behaviour of it
regarding the file system, you cant cut and paste, you have to copy, then paste, then delete original file. but with texts the cut and paste works well except you have to use command x and command v instead of control x and control v
all copy and paste can happen with command keys, but if you want to stop the running process in terminal, you have to press control c or control z, else it wont stop.
even in vscode, you have to do control and tilde to open the terminal.

battery life is amazing
speed I havent tested yet
backlit brightness is just the best ever seen on a laptop – its variable level of brightness based on environment is perfect
screen is pro level xdr, promotion – very smooth and colors are best
trackpad is gigantic and equal to a 6inch phone. the click that we feel is not actual click, its a internal click that happens due to motor – the vibration makes us feel something a button is clicked.
once the habit of this trackpad is there, you wont like the any other trackpad ever
gestures – 4 finger outside to show the desktop, 4 fingers inside to open launchpad (start menu )
no need to shut it down, it will perform auto updates and cleaning while asleep
default shell used is zsh, and not bashrc, its good and offers good features
